8 Baby Food Recipes That You’ll Want To Eat Too (An Ode To Baby Boom)

I love the movie Baby Boom. Like love it. I hadn’t seen in years and it popped up in my Netflix the other day…and I just had to watch it. D walked into the room when I was watching, and I had the goofiest smile plastered across my face and he asked what was up. Um, Diane Keaton looking like an 80’s power woman and a young, crazy-haired James Spader being shady. That’s what’s up. I told him that next time anyone asked me what my favorite movie was, to remind me to say BABY BOOM.
If you haven’t seen it, the gist is that workaholic Diane Keaton inherits a baby and things get weird. I’m not a spoiler kind of friend, but let’s just say she leaves her career behind in NYC to move to the middle of nowhere (and into a Money Pit kind of house), has a little breakdown, meets the hot town doc, makes a whole bunch of baby food, and then big things happen.
Watching the movie made me think more about all the baby food I’ve been making Sid lately – getting creative and introducing him to spices, new veggies, and grains. It also made me think about how a lot of you have asked me to share more baby food recipes (big shout to Yolanda), and I haven’t really done that yet.
So in honor of you, Baby Boom, and the always-cool Diane Keeton, here are my top picks for baby food recipes from around the web:
