A Year Of Cookies e-Cookbook HAS Arrived!

I am so excited for you all to check out the project I’ve been working on for the last few months. Spoiler alert: it involves a whole lot of cookies. Featuring plant-based recipes for every month of the year, it includes tips, resources, and some bonus extras from OPP friends.
Here’s a look inside…

Elise Bergman’s Thumbprint Cookies

Lots and lots of kitchen notes…

Floriole’s Chocolate Hazelnut recipe. I can’t believe Sandra gave me this recipe!
I’m pretty excited about the cookies I baked up for this, but I’m super excited about the recipes I received from the all-star contributors. There’s cookbook author Caroline Campion, Laura Wright of The First Mess, Baked head pastry chef Molly Marzalek-Kelly, Floriole’s Sandra Holl, the Cakegirls, and designer Elise Bergman. AND special bonuses from food-collage queen Julie Lee, Glossed & Found’s Graham Kostic, and Dana Gordon of Dana Rebecca Designs.
You can purchase the book here!
It’s over 50 pages of cookie love (all gluten and dairy-free).
And thank you to everyone that pre-ordered already.
I would love to know which cookie you are most excited to make or the recipe that’s got you drooling. Make sure to send me photos via twitter, instagram, fb, or pinterest of you cooking up your favorites. Happy baking!!

January 16, 2014Congrats, Jessica! This looks awesome!! Are the recipes Paleo friendly? (An important request from Mr. Lively.)

January 16, 2014I use brown rice and oat flour in most of my recipes. So, maybe not. But I am not sure everything Paleos can/cannot eat.

February 4, 2014Hey there, Flynn and I made the molasses oatmeal cream pies. I wish we weren’t so greedy and we’d let them stay out of our mouths long enough to take a photo but they were too delicious. We had to eat them. YUM!!!
Jessica
February 4, 2014You did! So glad you made them. They are the first cookie I made for the book and I so happy you loved them too.

March 21, 2014I made the almond thumbprints but with mainly raw ingredients like soaked almond butter, sprouted buckwheat flour subbed for oats and strawberry chia jam. Instead of using the oven, I dried them in slightly smaller thumbprints with as much jam as I could coax the cookies to hold at 105 deg F. Hope someone else tries this version.. Great flavor and texture.. Lots of protein too 🙂 Great book, so many recipies to drool over. I think I enjoy the excitment of finding new recipies more than actually eating the food. Thank you Jessica
