When I saw chef Jodi Moreno’s site (What’s Cooking Good Looking) for the first time, I let out a loud “BITCH!” Which means I thought it was good. It’s really my go-to response to anything that gets me excited, inspired, or just takes my breath away. Jodi, please know that I also call vintage Balenciaga dresses, everything Man Ray has ever made, and My New Roots bitches too. So you’re in good company.
What I love so much about Jodi’s site is that all of her recipes feel so approachable and fresh that I literally want to make every single thing she creates. Trained as a natural foods chef, she’s super passionate about making plants the centerpiece of the plate. And it doesn’t hurt that her photos make all of her dishes look ridiculously good. With all of Jodi’s skills, I wasn’t a bit surprised when she told me the good news – that she’s releasing a cookbook in 2014. Expect to hear a whole bunch more “BITCHES!” when it arrives. Until then, here’s more on Jodi…
