Episode 111: The Grandma Principles of Health + Being Honest vs. Being Negative with Daphne Javitch of Doing Well

This week, I’m talking to Daphne Javitch. Daphne is a holistic nutrition and lifestyle coach and the founder of Doing Well.
Daphne and I discuss getting back to the basics of health (the “grandma principles” like sleep, drinking water, having fun), how the self-care movement has gone too far, what her definition of health is, and connecting through the positive (not the negative). Plus she answers all the OPP Fam questions!

September 1, 2018Ladies, ladies, ladies!!!
Thank you for this conversation!!
I found myself nodding along and doing “clap-backs” in the car while listening to this one in thick of California afternoon traffic.
Accessibility is HUGE! I’m glad it was pointed out that, NOT everyone, has the time to (insert the array of self-care Instagram-worthy-activities here) because they are more concerned with taking care of their families OR honestly if they do want to soak in tub of epsom salts from their local Walgreens, one might not want to share it online – won’t that take away form the mood of relaxing? Maybe I’m speaking from my own experience. 🙂
Either way this conversation has placed itself in my top favorite episodes.
Again, Jess thanks so much for taking the time share these conversations with us.
