June 16, 2017Jessica (and Lily), thank you so much for this episode. Listening resulted in so many feels, emotions, deep thoughts, yes’s, and some tears and laughs thrown in there. Nailed it. Long time listener (and book owner!) and here to say I am not going anyway. You’re a rockstar.

July 21, 2017I loved this interview! Knowing what you know about eating plant based now and how you have (maybe?) said that you are so glad that you and women have options outside of getting a hysterectomy, can you comment on your feelings, if any, that came up when Lily shared that her mother was told to /had the option to have the procedure 10 years before her diagnosis and had some small hindsight about that decision? I really love what you offer, have loved meeting you at Gnome and reading your book and I’m devouring the podcasts! As I make this shift (I’m 15 days in as a vegetarian and trying to be vegan after watching “What the Health?”) I’m learning A LOT but I also want to be cautious about closing off previous views and what now I might think of as medical “dogma” when maybe it can still help. So case by case! Sorry for rambling! Also this is really dumb but everyone asks for ratings on podcasts… no idea how!! xo

July 25, 2017Sarah, I definitely thought about this. Good question. But I do a pretty good job at making sure if I’m in pain to get checked out. From what Lily said, her mom had pain and issues. I do my best and make sure to get annual exams and monitor my insides from traditional medicine doctors.

April 10, 2018This interview really resonates with me. There were many profound moments and I think I will be able to take a lot of insights from it. I think it’s important not to take diet as an alround panacea. Healing happens on so many levels and our belief systems influence how we deal with sickness and so much more. Thank you for your work. You are making such conversations accessible to so many. With deep gratitude!
