Get These In Your Ears: My Favorite Podcasts

The One Part Podcast is launching tomorrow!
I am so excited for you to hear. And a little nervous too. But more excited.
I’m a bit of a podcast addict. I listen to them when I’m getting ready in the morning, working out, while I’m working, and I’ve even started listening to them to fall asleep (trying to stop the Netflix binging at night). I love them. They make me feel relaxed. I love listening to people’s stories and the soothing (and sometimes not so soothing) voices that tell them.
But when I polled my friends about their podcast habits, most of them said they didn’t really listen to them. And then asked for a list of my favorites. Seeing that I am launching my own tomorrow, I wanted to share this list with you and give a shout to all the podcasts that have inspired my days, made me laugh, and taught me something new. Check out the list below and tell me your favorites! And after tomorrow, I’m hoping you can add One Part Podcast to that list too. Eeee. I just got nervous again.
My Favorite Podcasts:
WTF with Marc Maron (unexpected stories, heartfelt, and very Marc Maron (who I have a not-so-secret crush on))
Grantland (pop culture, sports, awesomeness created by my other crush, Bill Simmons)
The James Altucher Show (inspiring, honest, reality-checks with James Altucher)
How Did This Get Made (really funny and you kind of just have to listen to how great this is)
The Lively Show (uplifting stories with OPP pal, Jess Lively)
Go take a listen to one and let me know what you think!
Do you have a favorite podcast or one of your own?

-The Kindle Chronicles – he talks about Kindles, the Fire, Amazon and a lot about e-books and how they are changing our reading habits.

July 11, 2014I love How Did This Get Made. They are truly bonkers & hilarious. If you’re a fan of WTF, you might also like You Made It Weird — the same sort of intimate interviews with a slightly goofier comedian as the host. As a podcast junkie myself, I’m excited to listen to your first ep!
