Let me give you a little rundown of what’s happening here.
After making big changes in all the parts of my life (the way I ate, thought, lived, and loved), I really wanted to create a community for others who are trying to do the same thing. So I launched this site to begin to share all the recipes, tips, stories, and inspiring people that have helped me (and are still helping me) along the way.
There’s a lot to dive into. So I thought it would be good to start you off with some of my favorites…
Food is always my favorite place to start. All of the recipes on this site are plant-based, dairy-free, and 99% gluten-free (that 1% is the occasional Ezekiel Bread mention). So if you’re vegan, these recipes will work for you, with the exception of a few that contain honey. My focus is on whole foods that are freaking delicious, comforting, and will make you feel energized and happy.
Making big changes in your life can come with some pretty big emotions. Whether that’s becoming more confident, letting go of the past, or just figuring out a better way to approach each day. Be warned, we get deep around here sometimes. We cry. We laugh. And we share. I’m hoping you’ll share with us, too.
One of the things I’m most proud of are the people that I get to collaborate with on this site. Whether they’re hosting a For Reals Meals, sharing their favorite recipes, or answering nosey questions on my podcast, you’ll always find incredible people here – and hopefully learn a little about what makes them tick.
