Episode 17: Putting Yourself Out There + Creating An Authentic Brand with Jena Gambaccini of ChiCityFashion

Episode 17: Putting Yourself Out There + Creating An Authentic Brand with Jena Gambaccini of ChiCityFashion

And we’re back! This week’s guest is Jena Gambaccini of ChiCityFashion. You’ve probably seen Jena around here before…creating half-assed meals and being the only person ever allowed to attend multiple For Reals Meals (it’s hard to say no to her). Jena’s been a big supporter of OPP since day one. And I’m really excited for you to hear her story.

Jena and I discuss why she hid ChiCityFashion from friends and family in the early days, what she learned about confidence and putting yourself out there, and the advantages of creating a city-specific website. Oh, and I also force her to reveal the new brand she’s been working on, which I’m really excited about. And we talk dogs (hers) and babies (mine!). Fashion, puppies, babies, and big reveals…sounds like a pretty perfect episode to me.

Miami University alum. WHAT WHAT. My man went there for his undergrad AND his MBA. WOOT! Jess, you said you went to school in Ohio, too. That’s where I’m from! What school? And congrats on the adoption! 🙂

Awesome episode. I liked the the chat about keeping projects under wraps before showing it/them to the world. I definitely do that too.

      Sorry to hear that!
This was early on in our show…so we make sure that doesn’t happen now. It was a learning process, but think we’re jingly free now!
