When I first launched OPP, my dream was to do something with Green City Market. To me, it’s the best market in the city. The variety of produce and awesome farmers at GCM has truly inspired me to be a better cook. Not to mention, it’s sort of fun to shop next to all the best chefs in the city (they get all their produce there too).
So, when GCM asked me to collaborate with them on their final Meet The Market of the season…I was caa-ray-zy excited. And right away I knew I wanted to ask all my fellow OPPers to stop by and celebrate!
If you are in Chicago, I would love if you pop in (stay all night) for this event next Thursday. This will be the first MTM that’s all plants! And it’s all cooked up by the talented Chef Jared Van Camp (RM/Nellcôte/Old Town Social). Treats like: Sea Salt & Vinegar Lacinato Kale Chips and Sprouted Lentil Salad with Wood-Roasted Carrots, & Smoked Heirloom Tomato Vinaigrette. YUM.
The event is free to attend and the proceeds from cocktails will benefit Green City Market’s LINK program.
