The Moveable (Planty) Feast with Found + OPP!

OPP pals FOUND are going planty for the second installment of their monthly dinner series Moveable Feast. Chef Nicole Pederson and owner Amy Morton are hosting this bacchanalia-style feast (a back-in-the-day, crazy Roman festival to celebrate food and drink) Tuesday, November 19th at the historic Charles Gates Dawes House.
If you’ve ever eaten at FOUND, I don’t need to tell you how insane the food will be. Even if you have eaten there, I sort of enjoy repeating myself…the food is gonna be insane! Chef Nicole is cooking up a mega-feast that will be unlike any other veggie meal you’ve had. Chickpea & pickled fritters, root vegetable shwarma, potato cakes with kim chi? Oh, man. Let’s not forget the cocktails served up by North Shore Distillery.
AND I’ll be there! Mixing & mingling and talking plants. I just need to figure out what to wear…I mean, veggies served in an old school mansion? Pretty much my dream come true.
You can see the full menu and buy tickets here (proceeds from the evening will be donated to the Evanston History Center). Shoot me an email if you plan on coming. Would love to meet you and toast some brussels!
