Named one of the “Top 50 Best New Restaurants in the Country” by Esquire, The Bristol never disappoints. Co-owner and chef Chris Pandel focuses his menus on seasonal dishes created with ingredients that are sourced locally. He’s so passionate about his farmers and artisan craftsmen that they’re listed on a board that’s visible as soon as you walk through the door (they’re also on their website). If cocktails are your thing, they have some of the best in the city – not to mention a wine list with over 200 producers. Take a look.
With lots of brick and tons of wood, the space is ultra-clean and minimal, yet somehow still feels warm and homey. This is the kind of place that becomes your neighborhood spot, even if you don’t live in the neighborhood.
The Bristol serves a fairly meat-heavy menu, but they are willing to modify some dishes to make them plant-friendly. Just ask your server, and they will fill you in on what’s doable.
