Baked owners Matt Lewis and Renato Poliafito consider themselves “dessert archeologists” – digging, researching, eating their way through the regional desserts of America. Their paths crossed while working ad agency jobs and quickly bonded over their shared love of family recipes and a passion for all things baked. They launched their bakery/shop in 2005 and the rest is delicious history. With three cookbooks under their belt and a line with Williams-Sonoma…it’s exciting to think about what they’ve got up their sleeves next.
Baked is launching their OPP partnership with a veg-friendly muffin offered Friday-Sunday. Flavors are chosen by the baker and are first come first served (read: get there early to snag one).
