Christine Cikowski and Joshua Kulp founded the community-driven Sunday Dinner Club in 2005. It’s received a lot of attention for creating a unique place in the Chicago chef and dining community, including being listed as Zagat’s 10 Most Innovative Restaurants in Chicago (it’s not even a restaurant!). Born from the popularity of Sunday Dinner Club’s annual fried chicken dinners, the two chefs opened Honey Butter Fried Chicken in September 2014, with partners Jen Mayer and Chris Jennings. HBFC has been recognized as a top destination restaurant in Chicago and has been featured everywhere from ABC’s The Chew to Chicago Magazine.
I couldn’t be more excited to have Honey Butter Fried Chicken as an OPP partner. Christine and Josh are two of the most down-to-earth chefs I’ve ever met. Funny, innovative, and really connected to what they do – they’re truly inspiring. Let’s also not forget they have an outdoor patio at HBFC with lots of cold, cold beer and cocktails. Get there!
