RM’s outdoor patio
The cobblestone alleyway leading you to RM Champagne Salon is really more of a time machine – transporting you to a place that’s like no other in Chicago. In the summer, its patio is one of the most popular in the city. And it’s not just any old patio, it’s a Moroccan-inspired wonderland complete with lanterns, strung lights, and candles galore. In the colder months, it can be just as romantic inside, with the marble fireplace and cozier-than-ever bar/dining room.
The savory side of the menu is crafted by Chef Jared Van Camp (NellcĂ´te and Old Town Social) and takes buying “local” to the next level – milling his own flours and keeping close with the local farmers he features. Chef Nate Meads covers the sweets, drawing on both innovative techniques and a deep knowledge of classic French pastries. RM will be kicking off our partnership with a dish on the savory side, but we’ve heard that Nate also has something special in the works. And we can’t even wait.
