As you know from Episode 43 with Adrianna Adarme, I’m a nosey bitch. I snoop on peoples’ book shelves when I come over for dinner. I may or may not look in savvy friends’ medicine cabinets to see the cool new beauty products they’re using. And when any of my favorite food bloggers show a shot of their kitchen, you know I’ve got my magnify glass out to creep on their gadgets, gizmos, and cooking gear on display.
I’m so curious (curious sounds must nicer than nosey) because there is just SO much stuff out there and so many places to get that stuff…brick & mortar shops, online shops, pop-up shops, shops-within-shops…that it can feel really overwhelming. What’s actually worth buying? Was that 2-star Amazon review written by a salty competitor or is it really that bad? And where do you even start deciphering which baby stuff you actually need and which stuff you don’t (just say no to wipe warmers).
I get a decent amount of emails about my own things, too. What formula Sid uses, my favorite cookbooks to get started with a plant-based diet, and what beauty products fill my own medicine cabinets. You’re all just as Gladys Kravitz as me! That’s why I love you.
So I decided to start a little shop of my own. My tried and true. Picks that you know you can trust. Like the cookbook that taught me how to cook, my go-to thank-you present, and the best blender to get when a Vitamix is not in the budget. I’ll be adding different things as the months go by will even have some special guest pop-up shops, too.
Head over, take a look, and let me know if there are any of your favorites that you think I need to add!
Legally I need to tell you (and I’d tell you anyways) that I’m an Amazon Associate. Which means that if you buy certain items in my shop, I’ll make a small commission from the sale. It’s one way that I’m supporting the podcast and website while I’m writing my book.
