Episode 22: Creative Drive + Dealing With Postpartum Depression with Emma Arnold of Très Awesome

Episode 22: Creative Drive + Dealing With Postpartum Depression with Emma Arnold of Très Awesome

Creative director and photographer Emma Arnold (aka Très Awesome) is here this week. Emma and I discuss standing out creatively in a saturated market, balancing a 9-to-5 with other creative outlets, and how to create honest conversations about depression. PLUS, she made a plant-based recipe just for this episode (and it’s super duper easy!).

Here’s Emma:

I can;t even wrap my mind around how Emma does all that she does with a little baby around! Her baby is sticking adorable, but I agree with keeping baby out of the “brand” via social media.

I see a lot of moms lose their identities to their babies, I worked for a salon owner years back who lost all passion for everything that was;t baby-related. She ended up opening up a baby store, not sure if it’s still in business or not… it saddened me because I don’t understand (I’m not a mother) but maybe it was the best thing for her.

I give kudos to Emma and you, Jessica for maintaining awesome brands!! xox

Emma sounds like a super badass and I love how down to earth she is. I love how she shared pitching an idea as a “creative developement” – love that! Thanks Jessica.
